Design, colours and aesthetic objects have fascinated me since my childhood. I first delved into the art world, whilst designing posters for the tourist industry in my hometown of Zermatt in Switzerland. This passion for art never left me, even if my career path led me somewhat into a different direction -  For my sins I completed my accounting training and thus proceeded into the world of high finance.

Through helping to design and then build a new private home and office complex – the architectural design I had a significant interest in – was it clear how easily  design came to me, how it fascinated me and subliminally inspired me that I knew my path through life would not be exclusively influenced by figures.

I attended various courses at Zurich University of the Arts (HGKZ) and pursued this further education, which led to a creative professional advanced level qualification. During this time I had the opportunity to realise a long-cherished dream into reality: I designed an off-beat barstool made almost entirely of chrome, whose Plexiglas tubes can be filled with interchangeable objects, which is then illuminated by subtle indirect lighting.

Since then I am certain that in the future, instead of acquiring mass production goods from a department store I will myself design even more furniture and living accessories, and thus allow my passion for colours, beautiful living and my other creative aspects to run wild. Other projects are already in the planning phase for the near future, which of course I will update you about on my homepage.
